Huawei P10 could come in “edge” style, too

A batch of new renders coming out of the reputable if shady source ichangezone on Weibo is showing off the upcoming Huawei P10 with some new flair. In fact, you could see it as inverse flair.

Renders are showing off what are perceptibly different facades of different models of said P10. One is a flat, white facade that features the screen and no fingerprint sensor. We’d believe that even though the dimensions and colors don’t exactly align, the bottom left panel would be the corresponding rear to this version of the phone — featuring a fingerprint sensor, Leica-endorsed dual-camera unit (first introduced with the P9) and a taper on the left and right sides. It’s kind of a Galaxy Note 5 callback in design.

But our attention pulls up to the top right panel with a flat front face in black, but with a fingerprint sensor below the screen. And then the bottom right figure adds in a curved “edge” screen on top of those features.

It’s not exactly clear if these models are all in the pot somehow, however many there are, for release or if we’re seeing an evolution in the phone’s design. But we’re be finding out more of these aspects towards the P10’s launch sometime in the middle of next year.
