For those who find it uneasy using a 5.5-inch screen and want a perfect alternate for a Redmi Note 4 or a Moto G5 Plus, the Redmi 4 can serve all your needs. The only issue with the Redmi devices is the supply, which Xiaomi says it's trying to improve.

Launched not too long ago, the Moto C Plus comes with a fairly attractive hardware, even for a budget device of this caliber. Moto has focused heavily on the mid-ranged market segment in the past and the company continues to do so with the newer breed of handsets.
The highlight of the Moto C Plus is the 4,000mAh battery under the hood. The device also comes with a 5-inch HD (1280x720) display, Android 7.0 Nougat, an 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera, and 2GB of RAM with 16GB of storage. The handset can be snatched up from Flipkart for Rs 6,990.

For just Rs 9,999, Redmi Note 4 has redefined the hardware capabilities on an affordable handset. It looks and feels like a much more solid, with an attractive good-looking aluminium build, smooth performance and great battery life.
Its camera is capable of taking decent shots, its fingerprint sensor works well, and the MIUI is a genuinely decent enhancement of the stock Android operating system.

The one caveat here is that the handset comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow while most of the new devices feature Android 7.0 out of the box. The phone also comes with a fingerprint scanner on board, which has become a prerequisite among mid-rangers.

The Moto E3 Power isn't our favorite cheap phone in the world right now... it's not even the best cheap phone from Motorola - those are the Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 up above.
But if you're looking for a truly cheap device, the Moto E3 Power is still a good option you could take a look at. We particularly liked the battery life and the build quality of the Moto E3 Power when we reviewed the phone.
There are issues such as the lack of NFC support, which means you can't use Android Pay, as well as limited space, but if this won't be an issue for you then the Moto E3 Power may be perfect for you.
This week is the 10 year anniversary of the original iPhone being released to the public (in the US, the rest of the world had to wait a few more months) and it’s amazing to look back on how far phones have come.
It's especially fun to look at the early prototype devices for the original iPhone that never made it to market.
Ken Kocienda – the man who worked on the first iPhone’s software keyboard – shared photos on Twitter of devices he has had stored in his desk for the last ten years.
The devices were originally codenamed “Wallabies”, but Kocienda has said it was never clear why the marsupials were chosen as the secret moniker for the first phone from Apple.
The two prototypes look even chunkier than the original iPhone and come with plastic bodies, rather than the metal cases seen on the first iPhone when it originally launched back in 2007.
Neither of the devices pictured above worked on their own though. Kocienda said, "The Wallabies were just touchscreens driven by a Mac and a bare motherboard through a 30-pin connector."
Kocienda hasn't shared when these devices were being used in development and he's unclear if there were other prototype devices used before the June 2007 release, but this shot gives us a great insight into what the phone looked like early in its life.
We all like choice, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could give us some, as the latest rumor suggests it will come in two storage sizes, with both 64GB and 128GB models available.
And according to Osen, this information comes straight from a Samsung Electronics official, so it could well be true, but we have reason to doubt it.
Aside from the fact that the ‘official’ has remained anonymous, there’s also the fact that Samsung hasn’t tended to offer multiple storage sizes in its recent flagships.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus was a slight exception to that, with both 64GB and 128GB sizes available, but the larger model only launched in a few locations. The phone the Note 8 is set to replace - the Galaxy Note 7 - was only available in a 64GB variant.
So there’s still a high chance that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will launch in just one size, and it will probably be 64GB, since most Samsung flagships are, while if it does launch in two there’s still a fair chance that you’ll only have one of them where you are.
The same source goes on to talk about price, saying that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is likely to cost between $1,000 (around £770, AU$1,300) and $1,200 (roughly £920, AU$1,560), which would make it the most expensive Galaxy Note yet.
The source seems less sure about this bit, adding that “I am told that the price of parts has been a factor of rising price, and that some prices have been set high, so I think we should see more about how it will eventually be.” But those prices are believable and roughly in line with earlier rumors.
If the Note 8 really launches in two storage sizes then it’s possible that the larger one will be even more expensive, so with likely just a few months to go until launch you’d better get saving.
