Luckily, the phone is now available again after an explosive opening pre-order phase saw it briefly unavailable - if you order today you'll get it by October 21st which is when stock is scheduled to arrive in the UK.
The Note 7 comes with 64GB as standard but has expendable storage options which means you can add up to another 256GB with a memory card if you wanted to. At the moment some sites are offering a free Samsung Gear VR virtual reality headset to use with the Note 7 when you pre-order which could soften the blow of those early pre-order prices. As you'll see, at this stage it looks like Vodafone is the network to go for as the prices are cheaper.

If you're looking to buy the Note7 SIM free and want to know what the retail Note 7 price is, you're currently looking at prices of around £699.99 in the UK and $950 in the US. This is an expensive phone, probably the most expensive ever, so buying on a contract may save you money here.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 deals currently available are not hte same as the ones that were revealed after launch. Many resellers such as Carphone Warehouse have marked the Note 7 as 'out of stoke' until it knows when it might be able to get stock in (see above about the recall). As such, many of the deals we pulled out as being 'the best' are no longer available. We've left them on the page so that you can see what the market looked like before the recall was announced. Some of the networks themselves are still accepting pre-orders so use the comparison table above if you really want to pre-order.

This is the UK's absolute cheapest Samsung Galaxy Note 7 deal (min 1GB data). It comes from the iD Mobile network. iD is owned by Carphone Warehouse and piggybacks on the Three 3G/4G network which means you get some of the perks of being on Three like Feel at Home (Takeaway) where you can use your phone around the world at no extra cost. For just £2 more per month than the above deal you can get 2GB instead of 1GB. It's otherwise exactly the same plan, so 600 mintes and 5000 texts and a £99.99 upfront fee. This is cheaper than most 1GB deals at the moment so it's probably the best Samsung Galaxy Note 7 deal of the pre-order phase if you don't need more data. Total cost over 24 months is £951.99

This is the Note 7 that Carphone Warehouse is recommending everyone buy - it's placed front and centre on the CPW homepage. It's a pretty good deal as well, when you compare it to what else is out there. It's only a shade more pricey than the 1GB deals on other networks though not as strong as the one above, so Vodafone is the network to look at currently. 6GB for £42 per month and only £59 upfront - it's as good as it gets for data in this early pre-order phase. Total cost over 24 months is £1067

If you want the very best phone out there and you want to let it loose on the world, you might want to go for an unlimited data plan. If that's the case, this is probably the deal for you as it offers unlimited everything for £50 per month and 194.99 upfront. This isn't a bad deal actually when you compare it to the prices on O2 and particularly EE but the Vodafone deals do make it look a bit much. Still, it's the best unlimited data option. Total cost over 24 months is £1394.99

The benefit of buying at Carphone Warehouse or Mobiles.co.uk is that you get a free Gear VR headset which softens the blow of the high cost just a little. Here you get 5GB and unlimited everything else for £38.49 per month. The upfront cost is £159.99 which is steep but there's no getting away from that at the moment. Total cost over 24 months is £1083.75

EE is the network to go to if you want high-speed 4G

There's no way around paying a lot of money if you want one of these Galaxy Note 7 deals. It works out cheaper in the long run if you pay a bit more upfront. This deal works out at £1013.75 over the two years which is about £80 cheaper than if you paid £100 less upfront for the same deal. With this one you only get 1GB data so if you need more than that check out the other deals on the page. Total cost over 24 months is £1013.75

If you need more than 1GB data, it makes sense to jump up to 5GB as the 2GB we found didn't save you much money. With this deal you pay £99.99 upfront and then £50.99 monthly for 5GB data and unlimited everything else. This is expensive, obviously, but relative to everything else out there on EE at the moment it's good value. Total cost over 24 months is £1323.75

If you need loads of data, this deal is worth considering. £89.99 is the cheap bit - then it's £55.99 monthly for 20GB data and unlimited everything else. We wouldn't recommend this one as it's really expensive but if you need to buy a deal today, it's worth looking at. Total cost over 24 months is £1433.75

O2 is the network with extras, including the popular O2 Priority service

In reality, these prices will come down in the next month or two so there is a premium attached to these early prices. But if you want this phone right now, this is a good deal to go for. Vodafone prides itself in coverage and quality, it's often a bit mean with data, but there are extras like Spotify and Sky Sports Mobile thrown in.

This is the cheapest deal for the Note 7 currently available on any network, and comes with 1GB data for £37 a month with £65.99 upfront. The £37 per month fee is as low as it gets without paying significantly more upfront so it has a good balance. You also get a free Samsung Gear VR virtual reality headset with this one. Three is one of few providers that offers unlimited data, and Feel at Home is amazing for regular travellers.
