Instagram is by far my favorite social network. It allows you to enjoy the beauty of photography and video, without the added drama of the typical marketplace gossip that plagues its parent company Facebook. Hopefully that remains that way, even as we see it evolve into more of a Snapchat competitor. Still, Instagram is far from perfect, and one of its major issues just got solved today with an update.
As of today iOS and Android users will be able to download a new update that allows you to bookmark photos and video. With the new random algorithm that drives people nuts at times, finding a photo you liked twice can be a challenge. The smartest thing is to simply bookmark, and then look for the photo in your new bookmarks tab that can be found on the right of your profile page. It would be awesome if you could group these photos in ways to segregate food shots from the boring selfies, but hey, this is a good start.
