The OnePlus 3 and 3T both got software updates yesterday, but with only two weeks left in 2016, users are biting their fingernails just a little bit right now.
The OxygenOS 3.5.4 update is hitting the OnePlus 3T with some improvements to T-Mobile reception, battery-saving optimizations, Bluetooth connectivity for Mazda cars and other bugfixes and improvements. The update is being sent over the air.
The Open Beta 9 for the OnePlus 3’s Android Nougat software package is also out and it includes expanded screenshots and optimizations to DPI, interface and battery performance along with other general tweaks. You can download the update at the OnePlus forum page.
The company promised Android Nougat builds for both of this year’s devices by the end of the year and so far, it has not modified that promise.
