“ONE” unlimited everything cellular plan to rule them all? Not exactly, as T-Mobile technically unveiled a costlier alternative for throttled video and hotspot data a few months back, now adding a third option for “Un-carrier” customers digging diversity and freedom of choice.
There are two available extras for standard T-Mobile One service, dubbed One Plus and One Plus International. Interestingly (and somewhat confusingly), the new One Plus add-on is different from the introductory tier, setting you back $15 a month per line instead of $25, and no longer covering unlimited high-speed 4G LTE mobile hotspot data. Just double your basic speeds abroad, unlimited HD day passes for video streaming, as well as Gogo full flight unlimited Wi-Fi.
Meanwhile, for $25 atop the starting $70 T-Mobile One access fee, you can get all the above, plus all the hotspot consumption you can handle, and unlimited international calling to landlines in 70+ countries and mobile numbers in 30+ countries.
That’s T-Mobile One Plus International for you, and of course, it’s cheaper if you opt for two, three or four lines, at a grand total of $170, $215 and $260 respectively. And yet there’s still something greater around the corner in another industry-changing Un-carrier 13 CES move.
