We have a better idea of the Samsung Galaxy S8 release date and what it'll look like thanks to a new leak today, and it appears to be massive.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is supposed to launch is two really big sizes: one with a 5.8-inch display and another with a 6.2 inch screen, according to VentureBeat.
Don't be too alarmed. The Android phones are said to have a 83% screen-to-body ratio and wide 18.5:9 aspect ratio. There's just more screen real estate.
This would actually make the Super AMOLED display larger than the Note 7, which had an large 5.7-inch screen with buttons and a 16:9 aspect ratio.
The new Samsung Galaxy S8 launch date?
We know that the Samsung Galaxy S8 won't launch on February 26 in Barcelona. The LG G6 will own the spotlight at MWC 2017.
However, wait a month and you should be able to see the Samsung Galaxy S8 launch date on March 29 in New York.
That's later than Samsung's usual end-of-February Mobile World Congress unveiling, but sooner than the rumored April launch window.
Expect the Samsung Galaxy S8 to go on sale on April 21, according to today's report.
