Galaxy C7 Pro benchmarks look a lot like the Galaxy C7

The Galaxy C-series may be getting another member shortly and that member appears to be the next step up to the Galaxy C7 — just like there was that step up from the Galaxy C9. But where that step takes us, we aren’t sure.

What we believe to know from the Geekbench results we’ve found is that the SM-C7010 — a slight improvement upon the SM-C7000 name that the Galaxy C7 took on — has the same Snapdragon 625 chipset that its supposed predecessor had. We still find 4GB of RAM here.

There are also some decent scores: single core tests end up pulling near 1,000 points while multi-core results log in in the mid-5,000s. All in all, those represent a 10 percent average improvement from SM-C7000 test results.

The Android 6.0.1 phone was recently spotted on Indian import-export database Zauba. A lot of four averaged out to a unit cost of about $199. That said, the Galaxy C7 (pictured above) ended up costing the equivalent of $400 in China when it launched in late May, so we’ll have to see how much more consumers need to pay and exactly what for.
