Sources say Cyanogen shuttering Seattle headquarters, more jobs to go

After a shake-up of Cyanogen’s C-level last month alongside some reportedly major job cuts, sources to Android Police say that the company’s Seattle headquarters will close by the end of the year and more layoffs are ahead.

Two Android development staffers were handed pink slips today. Some employees were given the choice to move to the company’s smaller office in Palo Alto, California.

Chief Science Officer and Cyanogen co-founder Steve Kondik is also said to be at risk for his job. Kondik lost his position on the board of directors last month while his founding partner, Kirk McMaster, was replaced as CEO by Lior Tal.
