No appeal for Samsung in Apple patent verdict, it must pay $120 million

The lawsuit filed by Apple against Samsung over patents for “quick links,” “slide to unlock,” and autocorrect has reached an end. Well, only if Samsung doesn’t ask the Supreme Court to look into this case, too.

The chaebol lost its bid for appeal to fend off $119.6 million in damages. The full US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit applied this verdict after a three-judge panel found that Apple actually owed some money to Samsung.

No comment was attached to the rejection for an en banc (full court) review of the judgment.

The Supreme Court has agreed to take on another Apple v. Samsung case on the design of their phones.
