The Alcatel Idol 4s with Windows 10 might not be a T-Mobile worldwide exclusive, but it may end up that Europe will be excluded from any sales activities for the phone.
It’s a development not sitting well with Windows 10 Mobile fans in the continent, especially considering that the Idol 4s represents a more financially-accessible yet high-end smartphone for the platform when compared to the enterprise-focused HP Elite x3. It came out of a response to a question from theWindose.fr on Twitter.
@Mxiden @TheWinDose Bonjour. Ce modèle n’est pas prévu pour l’Europe. Bien à vous !

The response translates in part to “this model is not destined for Europe.”
With high-resolution cameras, fingerprint sensors, a bundled-in VR headset and a Snapdragon 820, the phone is expected to retail for $470 at the Un-carrier in the US. Further global availability may not come until way down the line, if at all.
Would the phone be worth a buy at that point? We’ll have to see.
